AlcoholScreening.org is a free service of the Center on Addiction. Your privacy is of utmost importance to us. This document outlines the kind of information we gather from your use of this site, what we do with that information, and our policies to protect your confidentiality and anonymity.

Self-Assessment Responses All responses you make to the questions in the screening quiz are completely anonymous and confidential. For the purposes of scientific research and usage analysis, your responses will be associated with an anonymous numerical identifier that will not be linked to browser cookies or your IP address (see below for information on cookies and IP addresses). If we publicly release user response data, it will only be in aggregate (group) form.

Browser Cookies and IP Addresses Join Together employs browser cookies to measure site usage. Join Together does not employ third party cookies from any outside organization.

Join Together also logs IP addresses, or the location of your computer on the Internet, when you request a web page from AlcoholScreening.org. We use your IP number solely for systems administration and troubleshooting purposes, as well as for aggregate site usage statistics. We collect IP address with responses associated with your IP address so you can complete the assessment if you stop. However, this information is kept in the dashboard for 48 hours then deleted. We do not sell any of your data or your information ever. We do not release this information to other organizations or individuals, nor do we link IP addresses with browser cookies or any information you submit during your site visit.
